Welcome to Lantrn
By creating an account and using Lantrn, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language so you can actually read them.
Beta status
Lantrn is currently in beta. The product is provided as-is. Features may change, break, or be removed. Data may rarely be lost during the beta period, although we take reasonable steps to prevent that. Don't use Lantrn as your only system of record for anything mission-critical.
Acceptable use
Use Lantrn for its intended purpose: personal growth, daily focus, and reflection. Don't use it to harass other users, post illegal or harmful content, attempt to compromise the platform's security, scrape data, or impersonate someone else. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Your account
New accounts require admin approval before access is granted. Keep your password confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
Anything you write in Lantrn — entries, tasks, reflections, journals — belongs to you. We store it solely to operate the app for you. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Limitation of liability
Lantrn is provided without warranties during beta. To the extent allowed by law, the Lantrn team isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product matures. Material changes will be communicated to active users before they take effect.
